Journal

Biological Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology is the official peer-reviewed open-access journal of the Lithuanian Society of Biological Psychiatry published together with the Neuroscience Institute of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. The journal publishes original research articles and review papers dealing with etiology, genetics, biology, treatment and prevention of psychiatric and psychosomatic disorders, and behavioral medicine. Reports dealing with patient-oriented outcomes, including psychological distress and health-related quality of life, in somatic patient population and interdisciplinary studies within disciplines of behavioral medicine, psychology, psychiatry, neurology, neurosurgery, endocrinology and immunology will also be considered.

The Lithuanian Society of Biological Psychiatry collaborates with the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry, International Neuropsychiatric Association and other national and international professional societies.
